LODE

How it works

02 — For grown-ups

The two formulas, and five measured scenarios

Floor = backing ÷ circulating supply

The vault’s backing over the tokens it has to answer for.

Step n = open × 2n

Every launch keeps its reserve in fixed steps above the price, each one doubling of the price from the open.

Cook, Bluechip and Moonshot climb to about a $1B market cap. Custom takes one step for each doubling from its graduation market cap to about $1B, at most 16, and each of its steps holds the same tokens. At each ratchet, what the steps sold is split between the floor and the pool by two numbers: the floor over the price, and the pool’s money over the market cap.

With ETH at $2,400 and a steady climb, Cook's vault holds $308K at a $10M market cap and $41M at $1B. Along that climb, a sell of 3% of the market cap moves the price 7.5% to 9.0%.

A reference launch on a 55/15/30 split with a 2× → 8× ask in place of the staircase. It raised $297K, with ETH at $2,400, before the LODE Platform fee. Live bid is the band's dear edge, where a sell fills first. The published floor sits one band, about 1.2%, under it. Market cap is price × total supply, as every tracker quotes it.

97.5% of the money raised waits under the price, as a buy order anyone can sell to. The other 2.5% is the $LODE cut. On a launch priced in ETH on Ethereum, a keeper sweeps it into $LODE. On any other launch its chain’s platform treasury holds it.

Changed your mind? Until the sale fills, hand them back for the price you paid, less a 1% fee.
